The people in Switzerland dress conservatively, but also follow the European fashions. The Swiss take pride in cleanliness. Costumes or fancy outfits are spared for the parties or outings. The Swiss all try to be the kind of person to look up to: a hard-working, independant person. “If people are late, they are either not wearing Swiss watches or not riding Swiss trains.” That is an old Swiss saying. The Swiss people care for their families very much and belive that you should always try and spend some quality time with them whenever you can. 
    If you walked into the home of a Swiss family, you would find it quite neat and organized and the family would most likely be small. Swiss families usually consist of two children and parents. The man is the ruler of the household while the women takes charge in the family’s political life. The kids go to school of daycare during the day.
    70% of Swiss families rent their houses, although some live in flats with 3 bedrooms. The people of Switzerland enjoy lots of outdoor and family-filled activities. They like sports, religious activities, or doing cultural associations.
